Dip your peeps in chocolate, sprinkle them with assorted toppings, and be the winner of Easter! So easy – so yummy – an instant crowd pleaser and addition to the Easter Dessert table!
I remember a couple Easters ago, I had just had Murphy – hadn’t worn anything without a drawstring in months – and I had to like go out of the house, sans drawstring, AND bring a dessert. As I’ve mentioned many times before, my family’s holiday dessert tables are epic on many levels. I’d say 75% of my family would just skip over the main meal to get to the dessert table.
I brainstormed for a solid 3.5 minutes and decided that I’d dip some peeps in chocolate and various other toppings and throw them on a plate – with a doily, for effect. My cousin Jen does this with pretzels, and basically gets accosted if she doesn’t bring them, so why not peeps instead of pretzels? Peeps get a bad wrap. And they are the face of easter candy really.
Guys, everyone went bat$hit over these peeps. And I thought to myself “hot damn I need to share these with the world!”.
So two years later (oye) here they are! Be the most basic and most popular bae at Easter this year.

Dip your peeps in chocolate and win Easter! So easy - so yummy - an instant crowd pleaser
Ingredients
- 1 package of 12-count bunny style peeps (you can use the duck ones too)
- 6oz milk or dark chocolate (I used both)
Toppings of your choice - I used
- easter colored sprinkles
- coconut
- peanut butter
- get creative!
Instructions
- Melt your chocolate in the microwave in 15 second increments until fully melted.
- Lay your peeps out on a parchment lined baking sheet. Dip the peeps in the melted chocolate and sprinkle with toppings of your choice (for the peanut butter, I melted 1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter and drizzled the melted peanut butter over the top).
- Return the dipped peeps to the parchment paper and let chocolate set. Store in an air tight container in the fridge (or freezer) until ready to serve.
