Pizza has never been more fun and festive to eat! Pizza wreaths take your favorite pizza and wrap them into adorable, edible wreaths
The one saving grace to avoid being super depressed and sad that Christmas is over is that there’s one last hurrah – NEW YEARS EVE!!!! It’s the last stomping grounds before new years resolutions and post-holiday weight shreddage commence and “holiday merriment” comes to a screeching halt. And then it’s just cold, wintry January and you’re left with nothing but your warmest down coat and a list of questions for Alexa (because how many of you got that for Christmas????)
The post-holiday blues are totes normal, but since NYE is the last hurrah, not only of the holiday season but the year in general, it should be just a little special! And whether you’ve got a hot party to go, with your best party threads in tow, or you’re planning to wear your most stretchy sweatpants with a giant bowl of popcorn and Netflix, trying to make it up past 10pm (insert “hands up, that’s me” emoji) these pizza wreaths are as special and festive as it gets.
Ever since making that spinach dip bread wreath, I just want to braid everything that I eat and turn it into a wreath. I gotta say when I thought to do it with pizza fixings, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. And like that spinach dip pizza wreath, they came out even better than I dreamed. I tried Buffalo Chicken and Pepperoni, but try your favorite pizza toppings! Get creative! NYE is the only night of the year where fancy, braided carbs are a MUST!

- 1 cup cheddar cheese

- On one half of the dough, spread your pizza sauce, then sprinkle with cheese and top with pepperoni.
- Fold the other half over the top, pinching the edges. Then cut the rectangle into three strips. Braid the strips and then bring the ends together to form a wreath, pinching them together.
- Melt your butter with the garlic clove in the microwave for 30-45 seconds until full melted. Baste the pizza ring with butter and then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
